Andy, there is always a lot of speculation on what Jesus could have been writing when he bent down. I have never thought of rocky ground and the finger of God writing on stone alluding to the Ten Commandments. You have given me a new perspective on this story.

Thank you very much. I love such a little mysteries that allow us to really study and think about the Scriptures. I may be quite wrong about Jesus writing the 10 Commandments on the stony ground, but I like the connection. If it’s something entirely different, then I look forward to finding that out one day!
